About

Stapleton Road Tavern was a temporary creative project space situated in a disused public house on the border of Old Market and Easton in Bristol. Stapleton Road Tavern presented a series of modest commissions and events, whilst also inviting artists and community groups to make use of the space free of charge.

Stapleton Road Tavern aimed to become a unique hub for the community where people from all walks of life could come together to engage with each other in creative activity. Delivering a range of arts activities it created a space where individuals and groups could raise the profile and visibility of their activity and contribute to the regeneration of the Stapleton Road area.

Stapleton Road Tavern was supported by:
ARISE, Bristol City Council, Love Easton, and Hand in Glove.
